Hi everyone, I'm İpek Kamış. I'm a third-year student in the Department of Communication and Design at Bilkent University. One of the things I enjoy most in my daily life is discovering new places and experiencing flavors from different cultures. Exploring unconventional and lesser-known cuisines is not just a culinary experience for me, but also one of the most enjoyable ways to get to know different cultures.
That's exactly why we created this blog. We wanted to experience and share with you the world cuisines in Ankara that are often overlooked, hidden away, but which truly deserve to be discovered. For us, each new place is not just a restaurant; it's like a small gateway to a different culture.

Hi everyone, I'm İpek Nur İnan. I'm a final-year student in the Department of Communication and Design at Bilkent University. Like many others, amidst the hectic pace of school and the rush of future plans, I try to create spaces for myself to breathe. The most important of these spaces is my connection with food.
For me, food isn't just about trying new flavors, but also about understanding and experiencing how those flavors come about. Bringing home the flavors from different cuisines I've tried outside, recreating them in my own kitchen, experiencing the process firsthand, sometimes succeeding, sometimes relearning – that's one of the things I enjoy most. That's why this blog isn't just a space for discovery for me, but also a process of creation and experimentation.
Our aim on this journey is not only to taste dishes from different cultures, but also to share how they arrived at our tables. As we share these diverse flavors we discovered in Ankara, along with our own experiences, we invite you to be a part of this process.
